Educator

Karen has over 15 year’s experience as an educator as a saxophone teacher at primary, secondary university and conservatoire level. Karen has delivered lecturers to undergraduates and postgraduates for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and University of Glasgow on chamber music and composing for classical saxophone quartet. Karen is often invited as saxophone specialist for audition panels at Douglas Academy Music School and Live Music Now.
Since 2008 Karen has been saxophone instructor for the BMus and MA undergraduate music degrees at the University of Glasgow and is a deputy saxophone teacher at the Junior department of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Karen is regularly invited to coach for many ensembles around Scotland.
